A website everyone can use, backed by a report you can show a lawyer.
ACS Creative provides accessibility and ADA compliance for businesses in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC, and clients nationwide. We test against WCAG 2.2 Level AA with automated scanning and manual code and keyboard review, then hand your team a prioritized list with reproduction steps for every issue. If you want us to fix them, we do that too.
The creative teams at ACS Creative are a treat to work with. They provide very personalized service. Clients work directly with the appropriate team members, not through an account executive.

Who this is for
Healthcare, finance, government contractors, and any company that has received a demand letter or wants to avoid one.
Where we do this work
Frederick, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Bethesda, Columbia and everywhere we serve.
Why this matters now
Demand letters citing the ADA against businesses with inaccessible websites arrive at small companies as often as large ones, and the ones we see most in this region are medical practices, financial firms, and government contractors. Beyond the legal exposure, roughly one in four adults has a disability that affects how they use the web. A site they cannot use is a customer you do not get.
How an accessibility engagement runs
Automated scan of the full property with axe and equivalent tools, which finds about a third of real barriers. Manual review of every unique template: semantics, ARIA, focus order, keyboard operation of menus and modals, color contrast, target size, motion, zoom and reflow. Findings mapped to WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria with severity and reproduction steps, delivered as developer-ready tickets. Remediation by us or alongside your team, then retesting of every closed item. We also review PDFs and documents, which is where most healthcare sites fail.
We do this work for Senseonics on their global site and for financial and healthcare clients who need documented conformance.
What we do not do
We do not sell an overlay widget. They do not make a site accessible and they have been named in lawsuits themselves. We do not provide formal certification or a VPAT; for those we refer you to a specialist partner and prepare the site so it passes.
Common questions
Do you provide a VPAT or certification?
We do not certify. We audit, remediate, and re-test. For formal VPAT preparation we refer to a specialist partner.
Do accessibility overlays work?
No. Overlay widgets do not fix the underlying code and have been named in lawsuits themselves. We remove them when we find them.
How long does an audit take?
Two to five weeks depending on the number of templates.
Does ADA apply to our website?
Courts have consistently treated business websites as places of public accommodation. WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard they reference.
Can you audit our PDFs too?
Yes. Document accessibility against PDF/UA is an add-on to every audit.
Will fixes change how the site looks?
Rarely. Most fixes are in the code, not the design.
